SM42s from the ArcelorMittal Warszawa fleet

On September 21, 2010, together with my friend Chris West, we visited ArcelorMittal Warszawa steelworks. This enterprise, which began life as Huta Warszawa in early 1950s, once operated a large fleet of locomotives. Currently they still have a number of SM42s, although some are no longer in use and are awaiting sale or scrapping. I took some pictures during our visit.

Another photo of this locomotive, taken on the same occasion. It was scrapped shortly after our visit.
