EU07s
and EP07s at the Warszawa Wschodnia station
I
frequently visit the Warszawa Wschodnia station.
Almost always EU07s and/or EP07s can be seen there, ready to depart or just
after arrival. They used to represent all variants and all livery versions.
EP07-400,
EP07-129,
EU07-124,
The same locomotive in new PKP InterCity
livery, April 8, 2009.
EU07-388,
EU07-498,
August 21, 2007.
EU07-484 and EP07-513,
EU07-337, in the then-new PKP Cargo livery,
EP07-397,
EP07-339,
... and EU07-516, photographed
on the same occasion.
EU07-499,
EU07-215,
Modernized EP07-1023, photographed on the same
occasion.
EP07-408,
Modernized EP07-1003 arrives with the P61005 fast
train from
EU07-87, April 29, 2008.
EU07-524, April 29, 2008.

Modernized EP07-1060…
…and EP07-1011, photographed on the same occasion.
EU07-213, September 12, 2008.
EP07-242
displays new PKP InterCity livery; January 29, 2009.
EU07-167 has not
been repainted yet, but PKP InterCity logo can be seen; photo taken on
the same day.
Two modernized
EP07s, photographed on the same occasion: EP07-1047…
…and EP07-1066.
Modernized EP07s with riffled side walls usually have attached tables with
operator’s logo and service number, while in those with plain side walls both
are painted directly on them. There are, however, some exceptions.
EU07s and EP07s
are becoming more and more colorful. Three pictures, taken on February 10,
2009, show the diversity. This EU07-235 represents new (final?) variant of the PKP
InterCity livery…
…EP07-456, not
yet repainted, displays only a small PKP InterCity logo (close to the
lower edge of the door)…
…while
modernized EP07-1052, transferred to PKP InterCity from PKP Przewozy Regionalne, displays
both logos.
EU07-153, April
8, 2009.
Several pictures
taken on May 28, 2009: EP07-444, in old livery, but with the InterCity
logo…
…EP07-389 in the
‘interim’ livery version…
…EP07-544 –
again old variant…
…EU07-106…
…EP07-1024,
modernized to the PKP Przewozy Regionalne
standard, but also with a small InterCity logo…
…fresh-looking
EU07-228…
…EP07-400 – yet
another ‘interim’ variant (inherited from PKP Cargo)…
…and EU07-538, leased
to Koleje Mazowieckie.
EP07-1004, July
3, 2009.
Three photos,
taken on September 15, 2009: EP07-434…
…EU07-188…
…and EP07-1021.

EP07-1061, photographed on the same occasion.
Two pictures
taken on April 29, 2010: EP07-1064…
…and EP07-1048.
EU07-302, June
16, 2010.
Three
locomotives photographed on July 9, 2010: EP07-330…
…EP07-1065…
…and EU07-134.
It was a very sunny day (the hottest July in last 150 years!), and it shows.
Three
locomotives and three livery variants (not all currently in use!): EU07-214,
EP07-1060 and EP07-331; September 21, 2010.
EP07-534,
photographed on the same occasion.
Four pictures
taken on a cold day of March 1, 2011: EU07-199 and EP07-1043…
…fresh –looking
EP07-1008…
…not very
fresh-looking EP07-385…
…and EU07-013,
an early example which represents the oldest livery variant still in use.
April 6, 2011,
was much warmer. Perhaps this is why the pictures are sharper (my hand were not
freezing!). EU07-109 is also an early production example (built in 1970)…
…while EU07-240
is one of the last built at Pafawag (in 1974).
Four more follow…
…namely
EP07-448…
…rebuilt
EP07-1064 (formerly EP07-378)…
…EP07-1015
(formerly EU07-143), based in Gdynia…
…and EU07-118, leased
to Koleje Mazowieckie.
EU07-145 and EU07-180, April 20, 2011.
EP07-537,
photographed on the same day.
EP07-537 again,
this time with EU07-167: May 23, 2011.
Three more
pictures, taken on the same day: EP07-362…
…EU07-146…
…and EP07-1051.
The latter locomotive was repainted in 2008 to resemble BR class 83 (see
main section of this entry) and has retained this livery, supplemented only
with the PKP InterCity logos on the front walls.
EP07-374, August
5, 2011…
…and three more
pictures, taken on the same occasion: EP07-1018…
…EU07-145…
…and EU07-212.
EU07-148,
October 4, 2011.
Modernized
EP07-1047 (rebuilt from EU07-438), but no longer a ‘pudding’ – displaying PKP
IC livery instead…
…and EP07-505,
with EU07-109 behind. Both pictures taken on October 12, 2011.
EP07-198,
January 25, 2012.
May 25, 2012:
EP07-435…
…EU07-078,
leased to Przewozy Regionalne
and sporting a new livery...
…modernized
EP07-1016…
…and EP07-338.
EU07-088,
photographed on August 20, 2012.
Another picture
taken on the same day: EU07-171, owned by PKP Cargo, but hauling a
passenger train (leased to Przewozy Regionalne).
Several pictures
taken on August 30, 2012: EU07-196…
…EP07-1014 (both
in ‘ultimate’ PKP InterCity livery)…
…EU07-186…
…and EU07-223,
both displaying new Przewozy Regionalne livery (which, needless to say, has found
little favor with railway fans)…
…EP07-1002…
…and EP07-1040
(modernized, but with old headlights).
EP07-330, April
17, 2013.
Five more photos
taken on the same day: modernized EP07-1042…
…EU07-077 with
rectangular headlights…
…modernized
EP07-1030…
…EP07-390, also
with rectangular headlights…
…and modernized
EP07-1058.
Next session,
eight days later, was less productive, yielding only two photos: EP07-312…
…and EP07-1015.
…Four pictures
taken on May 17, 2013: EU07-077 again…
…EU07-190…
…EU07-124 in new
Przewozy Regionalne
livery, but with no operator’s logo…
…and modernized

Next session:
June 14, 2015. Modernized EU07-1066 (ex EU07-231)…
…EU07-353…
…and EU07-043. I
decided to post this photo despite its poor quality (backlight!), as the
locomotive is sporting the Ecco Rail livery.
Although it has been modernized, old service number has been retained.
EP07-387,
photographed on October 8, 2015.
Three pictures
taken on April 14, 2016: EP07-201…
